What's New On Spotify's Blend?

It's no secret that Blend makes it easy for you and your squad to get into social listening sessions designed just for you. Whether you need a soundtrack for your laid-back Sunday afternoons, a beat drop for your adventurous Saturdays, a motivational playlist for your magical Mondays, or perhaps a get-ready-with-me anthem while you prepare for a live concert, Spotify's Blend has you covered.

And while Blend already seems like a dream come true, it. just. got. better.

Spotify has officially expanded the Blend family by adding 2 new features that give users more ways to connect with their family, friends, and their favorite artists through music.

Previously, Spotify users could Blend with only one friend or family member at a time, but now, you have the option to create a Blend playlist with up to 10 people (the more, the merrier!).

Another wonderful perk is that you get to Blend with artists that you love, such as BTS, Charli XCX, Kacey Musgraves, Lauv, Megan Thee Stallion, Mimi Webb, Tai Verdes, Xamã, and more.

That means that you and your favorite artists can merge your individual tastes in music into one hybrid shared playlist. Also, users will receive a share card, which shows your taste match scores. This way, you can see your listening preferences versus the artist's. (How'd you score? Does BTS' personal taste in music pass your vibe check? Of course, it does!)

But wait, there's more! The share card is specially designed to be shared directly on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. Yes, you go ahead and flaunt your fabulous taste in music.

Bringing People Together, One Blended Playlist At a Time

We believe in unity and collaboration, and that is exactly what Spotify embodies with Blend. This brilliant feature interlinks our musical tastes and serves as an attestation that music truly is a universal language.

So, what are you listening to? Let's Blend!
