JUNHEE, leader and main vocalist of K-pop group “Ace,” made his official solo debut with the digital single “Supernova” on August 14, 2025, ahead of his solo album drop in the 2nd week of September 2025.

If you’re going to release a solo debut track, make sure it’s a banger like “Supernova.”
A refreshing take on synth-pop and disco string sounds, JUNHEE’s new single is solidifying its spot in playlists everywhere. It’s a hit. It’s a bop, and audiences all across the globe are nodding in agreement.
In fact, according to PAN Entertainment and H&P Entertainment, it reached number one in 7 countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Hong Kong.
Here’s how it’s dominating the charts, so far:

It’s not hard to see why this full-English track is an immense hit. There’s JUNHEE’s velvety smooth vocals with a perfect balance of powerful, crisp edges that cruise seamlessly over the electric guitar bass-driven beats of this retro-esque track. Adding some much-needed cinematic flair, it’s accompanied by an MV that pulls off classy vintage flawlessly—from the aesthetic fits to the sleek choreography from both JUNHEE and the all-female dance crew. Not to mention JUNHEE’s on-point acting skills in the MV (daydreaming, and casually dancing on the piano while everyone just watches on, ultra-shooketh), anyone?

Whether you’re getting ready for the day, trying to survive traffic, or just daydreaming the time away. “Supernova” by JUNHEE is the soundtrack to accompany it all–and hitting the play button just once isn’t enough.
Adding even more star factor, the track was co-produced by globe duo PhD (Pete Balebik & Daniel Davison), who have collaborated with international pop stars such as Kylie Minogue, Zedd, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, P!nk, and K-pop artists like RIIZE, NCT 127, TAEYEON, SHINee, and FIFTY-FIFTY.
There’s no doubt that the song lives up to its title: a star that suddenly increases greatly in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion. But in the case of this Supernova in particular, it’s no catastrophe. It’s a masterpiece.
JUNHEE’s epic journey as a solo artist has only just begun, yet the artistic appeal is already off the charts—that’s exactly what’s keeping it on the charts worldwide. What’s coming up next after this explosive debut? Better get that playlist ready for more cosmic hits: JUNHEE’s solo mini album lands in the 2nd week of September 2025.
