"Hello World" marks BAEKHYUN's first comeback since the establishment of his own agency, INB100. Returning to the scene with a bang, the EXO-singer-turned-CEO just outdid himself in terms of sales. As reported by the Hanteo Chart, "Hello, World" sold a staggering 893,214 copies on its first day alone—eclipsing his previous first-week sales record of 868,840 from his 2021 mini album "Bambi." It’s safe to say that BAEKHYUN didn’t just break his record—he obliterated it, and all in a day’s work!

Apart from the entire album making waves across the music sphere, its carrier single, "Pineapple Slice", hit the 10 million views mark on YouTube only 2 days after its release. On top of that, the track skyrocketed to the top of the iTunes charts in nearly 30 nations. This includes Peru and Thailand all the way to Panama and Venezuela.

Directing Your Own World: Where Dreams Set the Scene

Before the album hit digital shelves, the anticipation in the air was palpable, and it was all thanks to the trailer that offered a magical glimpse into its concept.

The trailer, running about 4 minutes and 30 seconds, started with BAEKHYUN having a mundane day until a chance collision of two water cups mysteriously transports him to a different realm. In this cinematic preview, he takes on the role of a hero navigating through action, fantasy, and noir challenges. The trailer concludes with BAEKHYUN hearing someone yell "cut", and discovering the director is none other than himself. The scenes blend film and reality, as INB100 describes it: "It unveils a unique world where Baekhyun’s imagination comes to life."

Whether it's a slice of life or a "Pineapple Slice", it's evident that BAEKHYUN is saying hello to the world is whole new way.

Here's to the bright future of "Hello, World"!
