BTS departed Incheon Airport to the USA on November 17th for a lineup of events. Aside from holding their very first in-person concerts since the pandemic started, ARMY is looking forward to one of the brightest highlights of the trip: Annual American Music Awards.
Fans were teased with the collaboration stages with Coldplay and Megan Thee stallion on Twitter confirming their performance at the ceremony.
However, due to personal reasons, it looks like Megan Thee Stallion will have to take a raincheck on her "Butter" performance with BTS.
BTS and a Plethora of Nominations
BTS is nominated for 3 awards at Sunday's show – artist of the year, favorite pop duo or group and favorite pop song. The South Korean superstars won favorite group for the last two years in a row. Will the 3rd time be a charm?
Talk Show Appearances
Right after the AMA’s, they will be making a fun appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on November 23rd.
To top it off, the Bangtan Boys will be performing for the Tokopedia WIB: K-pop Awards. The new event, which will be streamed live on November 25, will be the first K-pop awards show dedicated to Indonesian fans.
The Main Event
Drum roll, please! The most awaited experience for ARMYS would be the in-person concerts beginning on November 27 at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles.
They will hold their BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-LA concert, marking almost 2 years since their last concert. This event will also be available online for worldwide fans.
Christmas with BTS
Keeping the traditional spirits high BTS will be performing on the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball. BTS will perform along with stars such as Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, and Doja Cat on December 3rd, 2021 only at the forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles.
Harry Styles in Concert
With all the work and fun, we witnessed the boys enjoying the Harry Styles concert on November 19th. Fans spotted them vibing to the song ‘Falling’ and this was further clarified when they posted on Twitter.
