Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, and Hwang In Yeop are set to star in the enchanting series that will take us to a magical world during our binge-watching hours.

The Sound of Magic will revolve around the story of Yoon Ah Yi (Choi Sung Eun), a girl who had to grow up too fast because of the harsh realities of life. She begins to experience a world beyond her imagination when she meets Rieul (Ji Chang Wook) a mysterious magician who lives in an abandoned amusement park. Despite being a grown-up, Rieul wants to remain as a kid. Na Il Deung (Hwang In Yeop), a brilliant yet introverted student, goes through a life transformation when he gets introduced to the world of magic by Yoon Ah Yi and Rieul.

The series will be directed by Kim Sung Youn, who’s previously mesmerized viewers with his storytelling skills in Itaewon Class and Love in the Moonlight. The director will once again be teaming up with writer, Kim Min Jeong, who’s worked on Love in the Moonlight as well.

Hallyu Star, Ji Chang Wook, who’s well known for his range across different genres (Lovestruck in the City, Backstreet Rookie, and Healer) will captivate K-drama fans further with his eccentric role as Rieul in The Sound of Magic.

Notable newcomer, Choi Sung Eun, previously proved her immense star potential in Beyond Evil, SF8: Joan’s Galaxy, and the 2019 film Start-Up for which she won Best New Actress at the Chunsa Film Festival. Viewers are already excited to see how she’ll take on the role of Yoon Ah Yi.

Fresh from his break-out roles as “Han Seo Joon” in True Beauty and “Goo Ja Sung” in 18 Again, Hwang In Yeop will undoubtedly charm audiences all over again as Na Il Deung.

The series will be released in over 190 countries across the globe. With a star-studded cast and an epic production team, The Sound of Magic will soon take viewers on an enchanting journey like never before — only on Netflix.
