After breaking the barriers between manga and live action, One Piece is officially slated to return with season 2.
The good news was announced by Eiichiro Oda (creator and illustrator) himself, So, no need to sulk after seeing the credits of season 1 roll, everybody!
With a stunning 37.8 million views in less than two weeks, the novelty of a TV series is the #1 Netflix title on a global scale. The Japanese phenomena secured a spot in Netflix's Top 10 in 93 countries, while it debuted at #1 in 46 nations. Further solidifying its status as one of the greats, One Piece earned a massive audience score of 96% from over 10,000 ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. This milestone officially makes the Straw Hat-driven series one of the highest audience-rated Netflix shows ever.
Taking social media by storm too, the program raked in more than 4 billion search impressions for #onepiecenetflix on TikTok alone.
