On September 5th, KBS2's new k-drama, The Law Café, kicked off. This hit series is based on the web comic Love According to Law. With Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young as the lead characters, The Law Café is a romantic comedy about two young people with strong personalities who cannot accept injustice.
Available on Viki and VIU, this is an excellent choice for those searching for a fun, light, and romantic drama.
1. Strong Personas
I love girls who possess determination and resilience. They are my favorites to watch on screen. Here we have a main character who runs after what she wants and isn't afraid to fight for what she believes in. She is not scared of anything, even if she has to fight her way through everything and everyone.
2. Fight for Social Causes
It's beautiful to see how a small action can lead to significant changes; Kim Yuri is like that. She believes in what she works for and works very well. It's also wonderful to see how she influences the people around her to choose the path of righteousness as well.
3. A Real Romance
If you're looking for a passionate yet cute romance, you've come to the right place. The romance between the two main protagonists shows so much honesty, which is such a refreshing sight to see. Kim Jung Ho has liked Kim Yuri for 17 years, and the reason for her departure makes perfect sense and doesn't feel forced at all. The chemistry that the two share is endearingly realistic.
4. Faithful Friendships
What would a romantic comedy series be without a good set of loyal friends? And the coolest thing is that they're not just a supporting cast nor background characters. Each one has a character sketch and a story that moves us and makes us fall in love with them. The Law Café's friendships are depicted as very natural and faithful; whether with old or new ones.

This K-Drama is a perfect combo that leaves no stone unturned. So, boredom while watching this series does not exist. The story holds viewers in a way that made me unable to put the it down for days on end. Truly, binge-watch worthy.
