Lily Collins Shares a Major Update About Emily in Paris Season 3

With season 2 ending in a cliffhanger, what will Emily decide to do?!

Emily in Paris, Season 3 is officially in production!

Netflix’s hit show debuted in 2020, during the height of the pandemic, and provided us all with some much-needed escapism (thank you, Darren Star).

Bonjour, Emily!

Since then, pandemic or not, it seems that we can’t get enough of Emily’s adventures in Paris, her complicated love life, her fashion choices, and her career at Savior. Speaking of her career, Season 2 ended with Emily having to make some serious decisions regarding her future at Savior: Either stay at the company and remain loyal to her boss, Madeline (Kate Walsh), or accept Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) job offer and join her new agency.

This is just one of the many questions left unanswered at the season 2 finale and fans are eager to know what the cards hold for Emily’s future.

While Netflix hasn’t released an official release date for season 3, Lilly Collins has informed us that season 3 is officially in the works. The actress took to Instagram with a picture of her and Ashley Park (who portrays the role of Mindy), posing in a Parisian square with the caption: “Reunited in Paris! Let season 3 filming begin!…”

The official Emily in Paris Instagram account also posted a picture of the season’s first table read, alongside the caption:

“Back at a table together, and it’s not for a client meeting or a dinner party. Production on season 3 is starting now!"

What We Know So Far About Emily In Paris Season 3

What do we know about the upcoming third season, so far? That Lucien Laviscount will reprise his role as Alfie, who despite returning to London, wants to work things out long-distance with Emily. However, Emily’s heart lies elsewhere and by the time she finally musters up enough courage to admit her true feelings for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo)l, she finds out that he asked his former ex-girlfriend (yeah, it's complicated), Camille (Camille Razat), to move in with him.

On top of that, we can expect a full-on love triangle between Gabriel, Emily, and Alfie. We are already anticipating fans taking sides and declaring themselves as either “team Gabriel” or “Team Alfie”.

We predict a lot of character development for Emily in the upcoming season. (That and lots of designer clothes), and can’t wait till the season 3 premieres!
